The Tulsa Oilers are currently members of the 26-team ECHL after formerly playing in the CHL for 22 seasons. The Oilers are one of only two teams that played every season in the CHL from the league's founding in 1992 until they ceased operations in 2014.
The Tulsa Oilers have a winning tradition, making the playoffs in 9 of their first 13 seasons in the CHL, including the 1992-93 season, when they won the inaugural CHL Championship over the Oklahoma City Blazers.
