POSTOAK Lodge and Retreat Opening New Disc Golf CourseTulsa’s popular POSTOAK Lodge and Retreat is opening a new Disc Golf Course and celebrating with a grand opening on May 18 at 1 p.m. Following the ceremony, visitors are invited to play free for the day, according to Trisha Kerkstra of POSTOAK.
\r\n The Tulsa Disc Golf Association designed the course and has been instrumental in its conception and building. “We are grateful to them for their partnership and understand that disc golf fans are excited to have a new course with varying terrain available to play,” Kerkstra said.
\r\n “On behalf of the Tulsa Sports Commission, we congratulate POSTOAK Lodge for bringing the new Disc Golf Course to the Tulsa community,” said Vince Trinidad, executive director of the Tulsa Sports Commission. “This new sports venture will be an incredible asset to Tulsa’s competitive sports market, and we are looking forward to partnering with POSTOAK Lodge to promote this new attraction to amateur sports groups and visitors.”
\r\n “We are excited to offer this new amenity, available to our guests and the public at large at POSTOAK,” Kerkstra said. “We’ve had many guests ask for it and the time seemed right to add it to our ever growing list of guest activities. We’re starting with the first 9 holes this year and hope to add the back 9 this winter.”
\r\n The course is A-Tier with challenging terrain and great views of Osage County. Play is free for quests of the Lodge, and $5 for the public. For group reservations and tournaments, call 918.430.3299.
