Live horse racing returns to Cherokee Casino Will Rogers Downs in September for their fall meet! Racing is every Saturday and Sunday starting September 8th; post time is 12:30 pm.
The Claremore Museum of History is celebrating Cherokee Art & Culture on September 8th, 12 to 6 pm. Play stickball, see Cherokee artists showcasing a variety of artwork for sale and on display. And a traveling exhibit from the Cherokee Heritage Center details the Pocahontas Club’s history.
September 13th through the 16th the Rogers County Fall Fair will be back in Claremore. Enjoy carnival rides, fair food and all the fun you could possibly have! Admission is FREE! Thursday Night sing the night away with Karaoke in the Cantina and the annual Fireworks Show to kick-off opening night of the Fair. Friday Night in the Cantina go country and break out your dancing boots with James Muns & Mark McClurg. Saturday Night in the Cantina enjoy dueling pianos!
The Pumpkin Festival at Shepherd’s Cross provides great family fun. Of course there’s a pumpkin patch to select the perfect pumpkin to take home and decorate, but visitors will also find hayrides, scarecrow decorating, a farm museum, animals to visit and more. Shepherd’s Cross is open Tuesday through Saturday 9am-6:30pm, September 25th through November 3rd.

Enjoy the Route 66 Cruisers annual Car Show and Cruise-In at Claremore Lake September 28 & 29th. The Cruise-In will be from 4-9 pm on Friday and the Car Show will start bright and early Saturday morning.
