City of Miami announces new event in conjunction with Rodeo Miami 2017

With the success of Rodeo Miami and the increase in attendance to the event, the City of Miami is launching a new show in conjunction with the annual regional rodeo.  The 1st annual Green Country Boutique and Crafts Show will take place in the Expo Hall on Friday, May 5th,  and Saturday, May 6th, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.  The new event is being organized by the City of Miami’s Department of Tourism and Recreation. The show will offer vendors the opportunity to get their products in front of thousands of patrons in the area.

“The Green Country Boutique and Craft Show will be a great, new event. We are excited to offer this opportunity to vendors from across the region. The Expo Hall is in a prime location and we are taking advantage of the large crowds that will be at the fairgrounds during this time,” stated Charly Petrek, Recreation Coordinator for the City of Miami.

The public is encouraged to come out and support small businesses while enjoying the 7-time ACRA Rodeo of the Year.  The expo features free parking and free admission.  Rodeo tickets will available for sale at the gate.  Cost is $12 for adults and $5 for kids.  Advanced rodeo tickets can be purchased at the Miami CVB (111 N Main Street) for $10 for adults for one night and $15 for a two-day adult ticket.  Kid's tickets are $5 for each night.  The two-day adult ticket is available at the gate for $20.
