Wah-Sha-She Park is a former Oklahoma State Park located 15 miles northeast of Pawhuska. From Highway 75, go 13 miles west on Highway 10. From Highway 99, go 13 miles east on Highway 10. The name is derived from the Osage indian language and means "the water people".
This beautiful 266 acre park offers watchable wildlife, breath catching sunsets and recreational outdoor activities for families and people of all ages. Outdoor activities include boating, fishing and swimming. Enjoy birdwatching and wildlife on the 2000 acre Waterfowl Refuge. Hunting is allowed on the adjacent 8,900 acre Wildlife Management Area.
Wah-Sha-She Park is located near the Tall Grass Prairie where a day trip will afford close up views of wild bison, tall grass prairies and beautiful blue skies.
