Located in historic downtown, the Tulsa Performing Arts Center is the design of Minoru Yamasaki, architect of the former World Trade Center. Opened to the public in March of 1977 using a combination of public and private funds, the facility is owned and operated by The City of Tulsa and supported by the Tulsa Performing Arts Center Trust.

The Tulsa Performing Arts Center houses four theaters, a studio space, and a large reception hall. More than a quarter of a million people visit the Center each year to attend performances from one of Tulsa's acclaimed arts groups, to sample national and international talent, and to view the PAC's extensive art collection.
