The Tidewater Winery in Drumright is more than your average winery. Not only is it now steeped in grapes and wine, but it began life as a result of flowing black gold in the area.
Built in the 1920s during Oklahoma's original oil boom, by John D. Rockefeller's Tidewater Oil Company (Tydol) and later acquired by J. Paul Getty, this 8,000 sq. ft. historic school building has been restored and transformed into the Tidewater Winery.  Remnants of the nearly century old Tydol community can still be seen nearby.
Tidewater wines include several varieties of white, red and blushes and the bottle labels are a treat themselves, with murals depicting the life and times in the boomtown area around Drumright.
The wine flows and so do the events and activities at the Tidewater Winery.  Bands, strummers, costume parties, karaoke, even a parrot head party is scheduled at this rockin’ winery.

Grab your friends and family and make your way to the Tidewater Winery soon.
