Three Rivers Museum
Three Rivers Museum in Muskogee is devoted to preserving the history of the Three Rivers area where the Arkansas, Grand, and Verdigris Rivers join. Visitors can enjoy the history packed within the restored Midland Valley Railroad Depot. This mission-style depot, built in 1916, was once the hub of travel for Oklahoman pioneers. Today, the restored depot houses railroad exhibits, a restored African American school room, a 1940s diesel switch engine, and a history driven gift shop that all showcase the multi-ethnic history of the Three Rivers area. Historians, students, and families can all enjoy a step back in time to what life was like on the American frontier at the Three Rivers Museum.
