Standing Bear Native American Memorial Park
Standing Bear Native American Memorial Park is a 22-foot bronze statue of Ponca Chief Standing Bear, and is a tribute to all Native Americans.
Created by Cowboy Artist of America, Oreland C. Joe, The surrounding Park features many symbols of Native American Indian culture and specifically honors the six tribes around Ponca City.
The Standing Bear Museum and Education Center houses exhibits highlighting Oklahoma's rich Native American history.
Two audio centers tell Standing Bear's story and describe the highlights of the Park, which is lit all night.
Families, history lovers, Native Americans, and visitors of all ages can enjoy the gorgeous Standing Bear statue.
