Hunter's Home (formerly the George M. Murrell Home) in Tahlequah is the only remaining pre-Civil War plantation in Oklahoma.

Visitors can experience living history at this Cherokee plantation. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and named a National Historic Landmark, this historical site features a kitchen garden, field crops, orchard, animals, and a mercantile store to provide visitors with an authentic pre-Civil War American experience. Hunter's Home is a living history experience like no other.
