The MKT (Missouri, Kansas, Texas) Depot in Hominy, Oklahoma, displays an ever-growing set of working miniature train sets sure to delight visitors of all ages. This kid friendly museum preserves the history of the railroad and the MKT Trains that ran along the route that is now the Katy Trail. The Depot was originally built in 1910 and trains continued to run through the area until 1977. Today, visitors can see a red MKT caboose outside on a stretch of the original tracks.
Open 12 pm to 2 pm the first Saturday and Sunday of each month. Admission is free.
