Kaw City Museum preserves the rich history of the small town of Kaw City. Although its citizens were forced to relocate in the early 70’s by the government, the town's history lives on at the Kaw City Museum. This educational museum showcases the tales of a city now deep under the waters of Kaw Lake. Located within the town’s old train depot, the Kaw City Museum has been preserving the history of Kaw City since 1972. This museum is perfect for students, history buffs, families, and anyone curious of Oklahoma’s rich history.
