Johnstone Park is the oldest family park in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
Located on the riverbend just north of downtown Bartlesville, its grounds have been played on since the parks purchase in 1903.
This 18.89 acre family park consists of three areas:
The playground and picnic areas have easily accessible hiking trails with great views of the river, a grove of historical trees - some over a century old - labeled with identification and origin, shelters available for renting for gatherings, and a skate park.
The next area contains a bird santuary as well as a boat ramp located under the dam. Offering more family educational oppurtunities as well as river access and wildlife viewing.
The front section of the park has a discovery park, a Kiddie Park, four lighted tennis courts, the fully restored, historical Hulah Train Depot, the Nellie Johnstone wooden derrick, and scenic gardens.
Johnstone Park is full of family fun for all ages and stands as an historical, cultural site for Bartlesville.
