Honey Creek Area at Grand Lake State Park

Nestled in a hillside overlooking Grand Lake, sits the Honey Creek Area. The park offers multiple paved RV sites with 30 or 50 amp electric and water hookups. The park also offers:

  • 150 primitive tent camping sites
  • Four comfort stations with showers
  • Picnic areas
  • Two group picnic pavilions (will accommodate up to 150)

The Honey Creek Area at Grand Lake is convenient to several attractions including Har Ber Village, Lendonwood Gardens, both at Grove; the Picture In Scripture Amphitheater at Disney (limited open) and Darryl Starbird's National Rod and Custom Car Hall of Fame Museum in Afton.

An outdoor swimming pool is open Memorial Day through Mid August. Honey Creek Area at Grand Lake offers a children's play area and a 2-mile paved walking area.  It's an ideal place to visit in Oklahoma during September when the Pelican Festival is held.

Grand Lake is great for fishing and hosts several tournaments each year. Anglers can expect to catch bluegill, spoonbill, bass, catfish, and crappie. Honey Creek Area at Grand Lake State Park offers a lighted boat ramp, fishing dock and fish cleaning station. With 1,300 miles of shoreline, you are sure to have a great time fishing.

Children can enjoy the great outdoors and experience abundant wildlife. Deer can be seen meandering the picnic tables while birds chirp away in the surrounding trees.
