Bigheart Museum

The Bigheart Museum was named after James Bigheart, a prominent Osage Chief. The musem tells the story about the town name being changed from Bigheart to Barnsdall. Osage Nation and Cherokee artifacts and other area history are also on display for the family to see and learn. Life-size bronzes of T.N. Barnsdall and Osage Chief James Bigheart are on display along with the history of each of these great leaders. Other exhibits include an oklahoma Centennial Project of 500 bricks in honor of civic leaders and a Friendship Memorial Wall of Honor.
