Learn about a historical Civil War battle in Indian Territory at Cabin Creek Battlefield.

Explore the 12-acre Civil War battlefield at Cabin Creek and step foot on the very land where Union and Confederate soldiers battled each other.  The battlefield, located along Texas Road where Indians, explorers, and traders used to travel, marked several skirmishes and battles over a span of two years.  Now, monuments and markers can be found which describe to visitors the history of the land and memorialized the Confederate soldiers that were lost during that time.

The site has free admission and is open daily from sun-up to sun-down, so if you're looking for an educational and historical experience, make your way down to Cabin Creek Battlefield in Big Cabin.
