Attend Dewey's Western Heritage Weekend to celebrate Oklahoma's early beginnings with lots of activities including the Tom Mix Festival, a parade and a Wild West show.

Activities for this two-day event include live bands, trick roping, trick riding, skill shooting, Western games for children and plenty of food vendors. Sunday's Wild West show, held at Prairie Song Village, will showcase wild bronc riding, trick riders, rodeo clowns and reenactments including Indians, cowboys and outlaws. Keep a look-out for Tom Mix, Pawnee Bill and Rooster Cogburn look-a- likes roaming the streets of Dewey's Western Heritage Weekend, and make sure to sample authentic chuck wagon food while there. Starting off the festival will be "Miles For Mammogram".
