OKM Music is gearing up for its 36th year as Oklahoma’s premier music festival. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, OKM’s Board of Directors have decided to postpone the 2020 Festival to September 4–10, 2020.

This year, guests will get to experience a multi-genre, multi-venue festival featuring artists of the highest caliber such as Dallas String Quartet, Tina Guo, Verona Quartet, Grady Nichols, Wynona Wang (formerly Yi-Nuo Wang), the Clark Gibson Quintet, Balsam Range, and Dallas Brass.
Due to the ongoing travel-ban at the Canada-United States border, Canadian Brass will now be performing at the 2021 OKM Music Festival. Fan favorite from 2019, Dallas Brass, will be returning to Bartlesville this September as the featured artist at Woolaroc.
In between concerts, free community showcase events will be available during the week.  Patrons may also buy a brown bag lunch at each showcase concert throughout the week. Enjoy piano performances by Rachel Foote, Keeli Droege, and father-son piano duo, Ryan & Ryan. Other showcase performances include trumpeter Jeff Shadley, the Oklahoma Strings Quartet and returning-favorite, The Ad Lib Singers. Local youth will have free access to a wide range of activities over the summer in July, as well as during the festival in September. Activities include story-time with music and art, master classes, a magic show, and the always popular “Prince and Princess” tea with harpist Kathy Stewart, to name a few.
Starting Friday, May 1 through Monday, June 1, a “’I love music” discount of 10% is being offered on all Festival tickets. Current ticketholders will have the option to receive a full refund for tickets purchased previously for Canadian Brass, or they may keep those tickets to be transferred for the Dallas Brass concert.  Patrons may also considering donating their ticket back to OKM.  Please contact OKM Music at 918-336-9900 for any questions regarding ticket-handling options.
In preparation for the 2020 festival, OKM is preparing for its #GivingTuesdayNow campaign being held this Tuesday, May 5, 2020. OKM will be hosting an all-day Facebook Live music showcase featuring home and state-wide artists: Brent Giddens, Anne Reburn, Rachel Foote, Freya Downey, Taylor Palmer, Bradley Hetherington, Julie Welch, and Kennedy Caughell.
“We are so thrilled to be able to showcase our talented friends and artists during a time where everyone can use a little music for the soul.  What an amazing way to bring awareness to the arts and bring a smile to everyone’s face,” said Mihm.
Giving Tuesday announced that May 5 will be a global day of giving and unity as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. People can show their generosity on #GivingTuesdayNow by giving online through OKM’s Facebook page: OK MOZART, and at OKM’s website:, or by mailing a donation to 415 S. Dewey Ave. Ste. 100, Bartlesville, OK 74003. Funding from this campaign will be dedicated to the artist’s fees for the upcoming 36th annual OKM Music Festival.
