Sand Springs is a small sleepy town about 10 minutes west of Tulsa, sitting in the rolling hills and along the banks of the Arkansas River.
Downtown has a lot of unique shops and eating establishments, including the new Deli on Main, The Sands Springs Station and several fast food restaurants.
Every April, they host one of the biggest Herbal Affairs in the area which includes:
- Arts and Crafts
- Herb Vendors
- Kids Area
- 9am - 5pm
Neighborhoods featuring tree-lined streets, City parks and an extensive trail system offer recreational opportunities for people of all ages.
You won't want to miss their Christmas Parade the last of November, (check your calendar) Sand Springs was the first city in the area to have a "night" parade.

In addition, the nearby Bald Eagle roosting spots and the 1,300 acre Ancient forest are significant natural amenities.
Just outside of Sand Springs, you'll find the world famous Discoveryland!, home of the musical "Oklahoma".
