Just a short 45 minutes from Tulsa, the South Grand
Lake area is a large and integral part of the dynamic growth of Grand
Lake o' the Cherokees.
The Pensacola Dam was constructed in the 1930's and the workers were so entranced with the area that they established homes nearby. Dam tours are available.
